it just keeps on reflecting forever. The waters off shore here are a thousand feet deep. really. Tahoe is the 11th deepest lake in the world, the 2nd biggest at this elevation, and amongst the 20 oldest. The water's so clear it's said you can see a salad plate 70' deep (105' in 1968). It has a presence like no other, and many moods.
