Love to see these two fine feathered friends hanging out together, enjoying each other's company as the world around them thaws out. Kudos, and congrats on the Blue Border!

No we couldn't hear them. We were in the Semi and it makes so much noise... but we could see their 'beaks moving' so I know they were 'talking,' probably about us!

You really have a knack for capturing Alaska that is not the typical and I mean this as the highest compliment! Images that most of us will never see in real life. 10+

I was looking for pictures of swans and found this one...I had no idea they were in Alaska. Always thought they were warm weather birds. Pictures are beautiful!

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
