The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for poor drainage areas
for...
Denton County in north central Texas...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 1245 am CDT

* at 938 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
the advisory area.

Fort Worth... Arlington... Plano... Grand Prairie... Carrollton...
Frisco... Denton... Lewisville... Flower Mound... Mansfield... Euless...
Bedford... Grapevine... Haltom City... Keller... Coppell... Hurst...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
