I thought you were preparing for a new blog - or better yet, a NEW BAND! I'd pay to see you play - not sure about the singing after you put it that way... :( Liked the last link a lot!

You know how an old hound can just lay around in the corner, flicking his ears, and then suddenly he leaps up, all attention, runs out the door and comes back with an old bone or a sock in his mouth....?
Well, here's what I fetched for you and Doc. You ought to get a chuckle out of this one!
{{{Sub}}} Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, I'm still digesting... If I ever had to search for new in-laws, I'd put "Must Love Veggies" in the ad!
Putting up Xmas stuff everywhere, feels good when kids are coming and Leena is here. We're entering the Lake Worth Xmas-window competition this year and are busy decorating, enjoyable team effort. I love Xmas, this year it's specially warm with Leena here, Jamie's kids are coming and my best gf is flying across the pond :D Finnish grey-salted pork roast ordered from George's, gonna cook it slowly all night Xmas Eve - Yummie :)
I remember you don't know much about stamps - lmao - but how about Livescribe Smartpens? Could you install one and teach how to operate it?

I am always leery of pens that have the potential to be smarter than I am finn. I still have days that I have to remind my phone (and myself) that I am still in charge.

Hey Sub, enjoyed the Zakk Wylde vid, thanks! Nice Alvarez Yairi 12-string... surprises lotta folks how great a singer he is too!
#507 Shore -
Hmmmmmm... and now... seems there's more....
And in a related development, Border Patrol agents reported several of the DOJ-confiscated Gibson guitars were apparently stolen by suspected members of the notorious American cartel, Wunderground Six-string Slingers (WUSS). Authorities are still looking for at least 3 suspects, one female and two males.
The incident occurred when the agents - caught off-guard as the female approached asking for directions - were splashed in the face with what appeared to be boat varnish, temporarily blinding them. The two men accompanying the woman then brazenly grabbed several guitars from the bed of the Border Patrol truck and were last seen swimming across the Rio Grande into Mexico, making obscene gestures and victoriously holding the guitars aloft once across, shouting "power to the people, legalize Gibson"!
A US Border Patrol spokesman, clearly embarrassed by the ruse, stated the whereabouts of the female are also unknown as she eluded apprehension, disappearing in the thick brush. "She seemed so sweet and well-mannered, can't believe we fell victim to this", he said, noting the boldness of this organized attack indicates further escalation of the War on Guitars.
Local county Sheriff Bud Buster chimed in, "don't let that WUSSie moniker fool ya, they're a ruthless, determined bunch. They claim they're using these illegal guitars for medicinal purposes, however it's plain they're getting high as a kite, seeking pleasure from 'em"... and added, "we hate to see these guitars - a dangerous combination of rare, exotic tonewoods and powerful humbucking pick-ups - fall into the wrong hands".
He also pointed out the difficulty in profiling WUSS gang members - "They're either totally irreverent or have an astonishing range of musical tastes, one minute they'll lull you into submission with Merle Haggard or some country blues, the next a full-fledged auditory assault with the likes of Guns-N-Roses and Megadeth that'll leave your ears bleeding!"
When contacted, an official with the Gibson Guitar Corporation broke into a broad smile but offered "no comment" on this latest incident.
;) and G'day!

LOL Sub, Not exactly how I remember my teachers describing my abilities! And - a thin line between that and lunacy... ;)
You'd have enjoyed the last few days over here - down to low to mid 30's with frost, abundant sunshine / low humidity w high's in 50's to L 60's... Alas, slow warm-up underway, some muggies to return in couple days...
Happy December 1st, have a good 'un!

Well Doc, I'd say your teachers lacked a degree of perception!
Was nice here for a couple of days but now we have an east wind again which will be bumping up low temps and dew points. It's been that way so far this year. All the ridging behind these fronts has been to our north instead of northwest so we can't buy a northwest wind for more than about a day or so. No northwest wind... no low humidity. Oh well. Another front will be along directly I suppose.

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled, till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn%u2019t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn%u2019t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."

I miss Okeechobee, I miss Sub's place. Although....not sure why. Kinda macrambe I think? Was horror that made me drop in, but was love and hope of better times ahead that made me stay. Please Sub, hope the hole is fixed, but if not? Know that I will drop in. Thinking I must get chute out for practice this year. Not felt that in awhile....Send muzak my way to keep the big winds, and even bigger waters away. Ohmmmmm

Water level info in the Acreage: A lake has appeared in my front yard. Water leaked to our Florida room from a pocket of water formed on the roof from Andreas feederbands. An unconfirmed tornado hit my area (3 miles N of me) at 6:45 am EDT, injuring one person, damaging homes, vehicles and downing trees and power lines.
Thanks to the Simple Weather Alert app, we are sleep deprived but ok.
