March 2012 - Iris Plants Ready to Bloom

I noticed just yesterday that a few of the iris plants have flower stalks coming up, not a lot, but it's a sign that Spring is around the corner. Weather's been on the cool side lately, and last year, when the iris blooms were showing up we had a snow storm which hampered them. Well, hopefuly we're done with snow for the season.

Also, over the past week or so, the lilac bush has been spouting green leaves.

Yet Spring is not officially here in Oracle until the turkey vultures arrive...
