I live and work in metropolitan Lewisport, KY. I like webcams, through which I can see the whole world!

You should be still there, just an hour to go. Glad to hear the temperatures are a little lower. We are really enjoying exceptionally cool temperatures!! lol
Thanks, Alley, if I ever get home!
Sandi, maybe you knit yourself some insulated knickers! :)
The well water is really hard. if you wash the car with it it leaves little white spots on the car. That's what makes the spots on the web cam window when I water the Queen's flower garden.
The ciy water is better but is still a bit hard as it comes from the Assiniboine River and not a lake. Winnipeg about 45 mils est of us draws it's qwater from Shoal Lake which is located in the Canadian shield and surrounded by granite. The people who designed the aquduct there sure planned ahead. It was built in the early 1900's and still has the capacity to serve the city which has almost tripled in size since it was built.
Enjoy your evening at work.
You must be shattered!
And yes, your suggestion is a very good idea! lol
Be back shortly!
Really nice day here today; it was a bit humid, but the temps stayed in the mid 80s!
You are working waaaay too much!
Was just looking at the critter cams, Momma dog is now out of the pen and the little guys are on their own. At last peek, they were snoozing on their shelter. 6 deer at the feeder cam at the moment, there is now a SUV and trailer at the Icelandic site. Must be visiters. Saw Opa walking up from the waters edge yesterday on the path and have seen him mowing the grass there. Every thing else seems to quiet on those cams. Yesterday there were quite a few at the Lake's edge in the other cam and as usual Milos is gorgeous. Llamas are doing well but I wonder about their shelters when its so hot. I doubt these animals are use to the kind of heat where they originate from.
Well I guess its time to check out my books for something to read. Finished the one I had been reading last night before bedtime.
Have a safe and quiet evening. Hope you do get to catch a few power naps after the long shift you finished today.
Trauma, talk about opposites! I wouldn't know what to do if I had six days off! But I could figure something out! :)
Thanks for the update, Alley! I figured it was getting close to the time the pups were weaned! That cam will be back on the new blog, and'll stay there until they shut it down in the fall!
The cams make popping in for a quickie, a bit cumbersome, but, they are very cool, our Friend.
Greetings, folks. :)
I keep trying to improve the blog; I've added weatherstickers to the cams, since last you posted here! I like them, and I think most folks like them, too!
I have to go disappear for a while, and find the last few cams for the new blog! Have a good night!
You're doing a fantastic job, Bud. Carry on!
Well fortunately I do not currently have a set of In-Laws so don't have to worry about them!!
Ylee, did you only eat a meal, or did you get some sleep as well? You take it easy tonight!!
I'm on a new shift. After whining kicking fighting the boss is letting me split it up so during the transition I don't have to work seven 12 hour shifts in a row.
The new hours starting next week are Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wed. The hours are good atleast but I will really miss working with the team player on the other shift.
Thanks, PSL! I do this for you guys as much as for me!
One more hour to go, Trauma! Enjoy your time off!
I slept five hours before earing the big meal, Sandi! That's as well as I could do under the circumstances!
GG, I had you synced with gamma; how am I ever going to know when you work? :) I'm sure I'll figure it out; hope your new coworker is as good as your old one!
If GG's alternate Wednesday's coincide with Gammas, they will never be on the computer at the same time! They will be like the Austrian barometer clock - as one goes in the other comes out! As one goes to work the other will be finishing, and vice versa!
Mind you, your work shift is so "higgledy-piggledy" I never know when you are in or out! lol
I may have found the problem without pulling the well up.
After checking the web for the symtoms I have with the well it may that the presure tank has become waterlogged. It's been 3 or 4 years since I let all of the preasure out. Yesteday I drained it completely. I'll try today and see if my well is back in working condition. Being over 30 yesrs old the cladder may have deveolped a small leak.
Enjoy your evening at work.
Kitty Cam
Sandi, my hours makes sense to me, lol!
Tony, Good luck on the tank; does yours have a bladder in it? Those will get a hole in them and make your pressure go down.
Shore, simply put, as said by my internet filter:
Internet Radio/TV / Internet Radio/TV / Internet Radio/TV not allowed.
Bah!
Dang, it's 5am already got to go make lunch.
LOL Sandi about the Bavarian clock. I have that image in my head now only we both have giants mugs of beer in each hand and "heidi" dresses.
Off to buy groceries shortly so I can be back before it gets too hot out. Oh what a day it will be. Fun fun fun....
Lots going on the critter cam this morning. Milos is gorgeous, but there looks to be a camp meeting going on by the lake in the Refugi cam. I see the SUV is back on the Icelandic cam and the llamas are enjoying breakfast. Pups are walking around their pen, I guess waiting for breakfast too. All else is calm.
Take care and have a nice day.
Well, I will be if you get a new blog up soon ;)
I don't think I've commented on this entry and wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your tour of U.S. cams. Maybe except that particular view of DC, lovely as it is, since it reminds me of a plane crash that I, apparently, have not yet gotten over. Not that I was directly involved, just that it had a strong affect on me.
Anyway, can't wait to see what you come up with, next!
Hi, Alley! Thanks for the update! I did have a busy stretch last night in the last two hours that prevented me from finishing it! Barring any major happenings, I should have it up by the time you feed Smudgie and the kittens!
sp, you're the first "last" I've ever seen, lol! Sorry the D.C. cam bothered you; maybe it was just as well I can't post the Earthcam view of New York Harbor! :(
If I ever get the new one up, I'll come bug ya! :)
will have wait til morning
for the old folks here its bedtime.
am I "last"?........
Anyway have a great day, get some rest, a new blog can wait...stay cool. Its going to be another HOT one today.
