The past few weeks have been devastatingly hot and windy. The wind and low humidity seems to create a feedback loop of more of the same.
Today it seems like the SW Monsoon moisture plume shot up from MX/AZ when the Front Range needed it most. And interestingly there's not a shred of malevolence, which is how the epic June 6th storm felt. Today feels normal. It's cooled down to 75.
Growing up in Colorado Springs late 60s-70s the monsoons always cooled us down, sometimes right into the 50s. I remember putting on long sleeve shirts in late afternoon after rain.
