Shall we move on to the weather?
There was 0.24 inches of rain during the timespan of 2 hours, between 2 & 4 am this morning May 30. Wind gusts from 35-38mph also occurred during this slight dampening. No thunder or lightning and the Severe Thunderstorm Watch expired at 8am as I updated. It is now SUNNY again! Checking the WunderMap for rain and clouds I noticed a 50 mile wide clear space fore & aft on this damp galley, with more clouds on the NW side and rain creeping along this way resembling a scorpion's tail of small storms.
Just now at 10.15 in the morning those storms just missed us here by about 10 miles! Their movement became more S than SW.
The UV Index is the same, once again, for a fourth day. Yesterday Temp and Heat Index matched from 3.15 - 6pm at 96°
But - Today, due to the clouds, and more rain ontheway (needed) the UV Index will be omitted here. The EPA predicts the UV several days in advance and lists 11 as the index once again.
Soo000o
If you want, see the EPA Hourly UV Index for today, since it did get sunny, no more clouds, no rain, and Heat Index maximum 92° at 4pm.
I'll pretend one wall is the past and one is the future
And I just stand here like the present looking for a good place to run
Notice the Observer arrow points to a Now Moment
The timespace or spacetime pauses
Where a moment is eternity because every thing is now

Soon
Soon, oh soon the light,
Pass within and soothe this endless night
And wait here for you,
Our reason to be here.
Soon, oh soon the time,
All we move to gain will reach and calm;
Our hearts are open,
Our reason to be here.
Long ago, set into rhyme.
Soon, oh soon the light,
Ours to shape for all time,
Ours the right;
The sun will lead us,
Our reason to be here.
Soon, oh soon the light,
Ours to shape for all time,
Ours the right;
The sun will lead us,
Our reason to be here.

Orange is a soothing color, orange roses are less common and smell very nice! Torri was an orange rose too.

My head is in the "Clouds Effect" above just now.
"Les yeux de la Vérité vous épient toujours"
Though my country is officially bilingual and my last name came here from France I had to think a bit about that line.
It means "the eyes of truth are always watching you" and the pair of eyes above go along with that statement. you may have noticed Elsa Hosk blowing a kiss while standing between two surfboards. I had a moment of vindication when I saw the NWS early discussion and quoted some of it, and also used that portion to back up my constant irritation at them for predicting quite often something which never happens. But I learned more about a Mesoscale Convective Vortex and you woulda been pleased. The MCV term was used in the previous blog, quite late in the evening. I got fascinated with this hurricane sister forming mainly at night and swirling around.

Have a good day
I read the short Monbiot article you provided and failed to even vaguely get the point about him checking my blog, even metaphorically. Hope you can see the print today a little easier.
The whole article reminded me of the "eyes of truth" above.
"In this column I will make a proposal which sounds, at first, monstrous, but which I hope to persuade you is both reasonable and necessary: that freedom of information laws should be extended to the private sector."
I have been beyond irritation fussing |euphemism| over tiny details earlier in today's blog. 'Twas why I didn't notice your informative comment. Many revisions went to the scrap yard where I noticed a few trucks being crushed and that brought me comfort.
The visual reminds me of "Dave's Flyby" towards the end of Kubrick/Clarkes' "2001".
Shiny side up,eh
I have flown around this province in helicopters and ocasionaly below tree top over meadows and river meanders. The Bell "B1" (more or less like the helicopters in "Mash") has a plexiglas bubble around the pilot and passengers. It's pretty neat to fly low on a sunny calm day.
And now to comment on comments commentaires sur les commentaires --I saw some Bell helicopters and put a picture here but it got mangled so I had to redo it all over again! I wonder how far away from your home you traveled to take the recent pictures?
Aside from all that I'm irritated the expected quieting rain hath not fallen .
I think there has been a misunderstanding and a misreading on your part ycd. Were you commenting to the right person? Or having a recurring nightmare flashback?
First of all you completely failed to appraise the context of a simple sentence that mentioned david bowie and space oddity (not 2001) with a video link to Bowie.
Secondly, "I am justa girl who reclaimed my divinity."
You need not kneel, just try to read a little better.
I sprinkle French throughout because I love the French language.
I don't introduce myself and I shouldn't have to explain myself either.
I do not accept cancerous sputum. Retaliation is superior to turning the other cheek.
I commented on your helicopter.
You complain about the colors and do not even see the beauty that takes 2 hours or more a day to create in this very special blog.
I rarely discuss myself, what I do, or even allow sharing moments in common with most people, especially online, because "Their eyes do not even know what they see."
I have been contacted and have learned to steer clear of the Madding Crowd.
Lastly, I play a few instruments, not "the spoons". I thrive on lyrics that take me beyond the sordid complacency some call `their life'.
Comprenez Vous?
Mas O Menos.
I like other languages too but have few words I can use.
I'm not trying to criticize and admit that I do not notice nor understand everything. Sometimes these lapses will apply to comments I write.
What I am trying to convey is appreciation and curiosity .
I got some forms for a concrete slab mocked up at my daughter's place today and some semi-approval on the phone just now.
That is a good day in my estimation.
Tanks for stoppin' by
I'm trying to mesh my daughter's wish for a root cellar with my son in law's need for a studio/workshop and a place to park his Harley. If you Google "Black and Blue Tattoo" SIL's site will come up, I hope.
I, for one, check in here every time you change something whether or not I comment.
Building things really is starting to interfere with my blogging time though.
"Yes but I don't understand it." said Egbert.
Horseless in Cassidy
I found the Nanaimo tattoo website
http://www.blackandbluetattoo.ca/ and wondered if Candice might be your daughter. You don't need to tell me, I merely wondered when I looked at their website. $100 minimum per visit is about the same as a dentist, except they tattoo you they don't detooth you. Nice joke in your latest résumé ( summary in English ). I hope you get your masonry work done and have enough help. It is blistering hot here. I heeded the advice of the EPA in my blog, stayed inside and reading a book.
What do you think about the Large Hadron Collider?
HmMMMM???
I've been out of internet range for a day or so - we took some of the kids and grand kid (or they took us) and stayed overnight at the small cabin about five partners maintain on a smaller island with no landline.
What do I think of the big colliders?
My brother-in-law is a nuclear physcist and worked at the T.R.I.U.M.F. installation. I took a tour and was suitably impressed with the sheer size of the enclosure for the accelerator. I would imagine the TRIUMF installation would fit in the Hadron Collider's mailbox.
I've been interested by all sciences most of my life and so far we have let the Genie out of the bottle but have yet to try to stuff him/her back in.
Time to put the PhDs to work on bringing "The Balance Back" "beƒore it's too late".
The ancient runes were writ in gold to bring the balance back.
Also just watching my butterflies flutter about casually, yet quite aware of their surroundings brings a bonding peace of mind with Nature, which is the totality of all life (inanimate too), forces, cycles, photonic energy, plutonic energy(this one is undefined at present, kinda like dividing by Zero), and the sum total of all knowledge, what has been and what is yet to be... all of this is Nature as Archetype.
Welcome back
"Big Yellow Taxi" will be here in 10, 9...........
Did you get lost somewhere, YCD? It is a little 'latter' after 3 days Missing in Action, I think?
And I really do think.
I'm sure I thought at some point and Maxwell's Equations above made me pull out "Heat And Thermodynamics" by Zemansky and try to find some explanation. I think I passed that course but I soon sobered up and went back to simple stuff like building houses for folks to live in.

Seems more related to "Stopping Thought" which I find a quite handy technique for getting through a rough patch.
Breathing "through the Navel" helps too.
It is a beautiful day here and I've restricted my world enough so I don't even worry about the terrible stuff I put up on my blog. I'm going back out to sit with Tloml and listen to her day.
No apologies - "A won't is a will"
Your blog is fading away on my screen.
When I find an interesting blog like yours I tend to post comments that reflect my own interests. I do not choose every word - they just tumble along and I reread usually for grammar. Now and then I have to go HUUUMMM myself but since my ability to comment at all is a gift
from a number of sources I don't fully understand I will often post what appears whether or not I know exactly what it means.
I'm going back to my blog to sulk.

They "tumble along" u say
Like future shock observing a desolate past? Or are we mumbling(meaning me myself and i - a trio) about an imaginary number that somehow stole into the time dilation equations?
Or could it be you had wanted to see the hidden meanings when the artist after finishing the painting hid most of it with gesso.
I had to look up gesso and read a bit there and I do look too hard for hidden meanings - not just here.
Quite often when I re read what I have written I see other interpretations are possible though I thought I was only saying one thing.
I measured 36" wide petals on the Petasites Japonicus Bladverk:

OK Now it shows clearly-- justin-case of accident she always took her Mom. (a slight revision of a line from Bungalow Bill ( [beatles] )
That is a big plant! You must have ideal climate there North West of Puget Sound, right? It would be thinkable that a Congolese plant would enjoy a vacation in humid bliss.
I am finally close to done from painstakingly editing my blog. Sometimes I wonder if it is at all worth it. Because the weather is so borrrrrrrrre ing! Only think(g) that keeps me going is the 4th level eidetic transformations of commonisms. Sorry if you inspect and can't see blogside again today ycdO1O8. I just had to lighten everything for that creamy whipped topping overlay with the purple text. It looks so yummy a person would want to eat it
