While down below at my homestead...

Today I installed my new weather station.

I had been meaning to do this for a long time and finally got 'a round tuit'.

After long debate, I settled on an Ambient Weather Pro solar powered station and downloaded Cumulus software. I had imagined it taking days to get everything set up and working but was really surprised at how simple it was. About an hour of work and it was registered with MADIS and Weatherunderground.

There are still a few glitches and things I would like to have looking better but overall I am very pleased with the weather station setup.

A few troubles last night with the wireless part of the weather station. Something went haywire and it started reporting 113 degrees outside. NOT. I reset everything and moved the wireless receiver closer and will see how that works-out. Member Since: 30 maart 2010 Posts: 4 Comments: 325

Well. Several hours have passed and the station seems to be online still. I've added the outputs from it on my own website Harry's Weather Station Pedro was beside himself with joy as you can tell. Member Since: 30 maart 2010 Posts: 4 Comments: 325
