Storm on the way, rain totals could reach 4.0 inches by 8:00 PM. Flood Watch in effect. Severe rapid moving thunderstorms possible. Tornado watches possible. Stay safe, updates throughout the day.

Band of Severe Thunderstorms moving in tonight . . .

4/5/12: See the radar below. Tonight's rainfall is set at about an inch with severe thunderstorms possible. Be on alert and set weather radios. No Tornado watches were set for today, but in and around Brevard, vortex signatures and mesocyclones were present in the area.

Got a shock!

At 6:40 AM you may have been awokin to the sound of 2 massive lightning strikes. Don't know yet where they hit on our campus, but they were close to my window. I will take pics if there is damage and post later. This was the very last cell of the major cold front that just moved through. The last HURAHH!

A Big Band of Thunderstorms is moving in . . .

Dear all, A big band of thunderstorms is moving in from the west, after midnight and into Friday Morning. 3/22. Some thunderstorms could be severe. Students, feel free to let me know what is happening in your area. It is cool we all experience such different weather relatively close proximity.
