Crossroads this morning is not great! Dew point just hit 70 for the first time this summer and Fall is only a week away! I just stepped outside and it almost took my breath away. It feels like July out there. Be grateful you have a sea breeze down your way...

Hi Bangor!
Finally getting a little time on the blogs...How's it going for you? Fall weather kicked in here right at the start of the month and we've run about 6 degrees cooler than normal so far in September. The rest of this week will be warmer, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s...lows in the 45-50 range. A few trees are starting to turn color even here in town.

Good Morning {{Bangor}}!

What a game! We had to make up for the big OOPS from Monday Night.
Jump up off the couch when Narrovo hit the ball way out there.

Up against the knuckleballer tonight.

Have a Great Hump Day!

Looking for the high today 90.
Need the rain to come back.

Good Morning {{Bangor}}!

WE seem to let ourselves get a little sloppy on the easy games. Let's just get the first 2 games in the W cloumn and we can breathe a little easier.

There were many who said the Rays would fall after the All Star games. LMBO at them now. But you know most of them are Yankee fans. :-)

Have a Tremendous Thursday!!!

Go Rays!!

Bangor is 7 degress cooler right now than us here on the coast but no matter...the air feels so refreshing! No hard frost down here yet how about you Bangor? It's that time of year isn't it? Lucky for me...cold doesn't bother me, if it did I wouldn't live here.

Crossroads I wouldn't call it a hard frost it went down to 32 for about 2 hours the other morning. I covered my cukes and tomatoes and they are fine. I've been keeping track over the past 5 years and the first frost has been between October 4th-12th over those 5 years. I'm hoping for 2 more weeks of growing season...

The Bucs game was a nail biter, still have a few more left.

I do believe the Rays did a little bit to much partying after the win on Saturday.

Hoping for some rain today, there is some in the Gulf it just has to make it was on land.

Have a Marvelous Monday!! :-)

Windows have been opened since yesterday morning.
With the humidity down it makes it feel comfortable. The ceiling fans help keep things a little cooler. Come Sunday all the windows will be closed again.

Will should be heading to downtown Tampa to watch the game tonight. There setting up big Teletron TV's so we can sit and watch the game.

Batten down the hatches and have plenty of drinks and snacks on hand for the game, whilst Kyle makes his appearance in your neck of the woods.

Guess this will be a good test of the all the renovations you've been doing. Hope the Hobbit Hole doesn't flood!

LOL Gamma anybody who jumps in the ocean water up here is a tourist and they quickly jump back out!!! Us locals stick to the inland lakes and ponds with alot of sun exposure, they get up to about 80 in mid summer...

LOL, I guess that s about right, the locals know that ocean water is cold! Well if it is a hot day and your lake is up to 80.. most could probably do that! LOL

have fun at your party tomorrow.. nope, not going to worry about you that far inland.. like you said worse is lots of rain and you may lose power with some wind.

just read back.. are you kidding 52 degrees? that is almost freezing.. for real that is your water temps up there? Good grief.. I would absolutely die in water that cold! I guess that is why you don't see on the news folks in Maine out on the beach ! LOL

I'm East of Stonington. It looks like the storm center will be closest to me before it makes landfall. Hopefully the internet stays up because DirecTV will defineatly not be working if there's any rain on the west side. The waves should be pretty good.

I think Cantore should head for Eastport. That looks like the only chance for a Maine landfall...

Yeah ya don't swim in the ocean!! Kyle looks like to be a Tropical Storm once it hits land later this afternoon. Im 10 miles from the coast and we are expecting 1-3 inches of rain with wind gusts up to 50pmh. SO im not too worried. 50 is probably about average for the ocean water temp. less in the winter more in the summer. There is the gulf stream which is a cold water current that flow up through this way. Salt water swimming never really appealed to me anyway. We have lakes for that. In the winter...indoor pools. We have a light/moderate rain falling at this time at 6am. Should be a nice soaker. Enjoy!

Good morning Bangor!
Enjoy your Kyle party...hope the weather doesn't get rough enough to make you lose power. We're glad we made a trip east when we did earlier this month. The tail end of Hanna wasn't too bad when we flew into Philly, and we had nice weather when we drove down to North Carolina. Cape Hatteras was great! But I'd have to say this wouldn't be a very good week to try to view fall color in New England LOL!!

The weather is calm here in Colorado...we're going up in the mountains to check out the aspens.
