Often referred to as cheesy ect...But take a serious look at music today.rock replaced with rap guitars replaced with drum machines guns n roses replaced by 50 cent.Its said that history repeats itself the reason that most of the rock bands of the 1970's & 1980's faded out was due to all of the generic versions copying each others looks and sounds and at this point i see the exact same thing happening with rap.And don't misunderstand what i'm saying i'm not putting down rap at all just all the remakes remixes...I feel there is no originality left in the music industry today that the bands of the 50's 60's 70's 80's and early 90's made huge impacts on millions of fans while rap artists can sell millions of records off a song from the 80's ect...that kids today refuse to listen to simply because its"old"and i feel that if they truly liked the rap artist they listen to they would look into the song that inspired him or her to make again.So to sum it all up we should not throw away music of the past but cherish it no matter what decade or genre.
