Man I have so much to tell you all about and so little time to tell it. I have been away so long and have been sick I have missed everyone though and look forward to new year with you all.
****************************************

A little sunshine today. Waiting to get on the road to Alaska. We are looking for small engine for dredge. 25 horse kohler. I have been 8 days without my steriods. I am feeling great, I owe that all to God above my personal doctor. I praise him all day long for his perfect healing.
*************************************************

Well here we are back in Alaska. I dont care if it is -70 for days I love being home. At the current moment we are thawing our well as it froze due to no one being in the house or cabin so long. My new husband and I have learned so much through this experience. I guarantee you the next time we wont come home to frozen well. Anyway it is truly a blessing to be here in Tok Alaska Home Sweet Home. There are so many people with more worries than we have so Praise
God for all of his blessings on us and our nation and everyone we know.

New Poem

Listen
Listen? Can you hear?
The words of a new poem
Are drawing near.
Will the words be that of rhyme?
Or just taking up space, line by line?
Listen closely to the words in your head
Then take out some lead or simply go to bed.
Make it rhyme, one line at a time
As the words in your head are written in lead.
The choice was mine but
Now it’s yours.
So waste some time, line by line
The words are there
If you dare to share
So make them appear
It is all so very clear.
Listen? Can you hear?
The words of a new poem
Has just appeared.

I am in Virginia for the moment fixing to pull out of here and head for Alaska. I feel as though Alaska was with us the whole time we were here. We had continuous snow either daily or every other day. I have been trying to keep my head straight but cant keep from thinkin of home. Truly there is no place like home. I have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I was very sick in novemember of 2009 and found myself in the University of Kentucky hospital for 5 days and I praise God for his healing power I am back in remission.
As we make this journey north I pray for all the angels wings to be wrapped around us and especially the tires. So we dont have any flats. So if you pray to God pray for safe travel for us and that my health stays as it is for now.
My life is so different now since Jim passed away in March of 2007. I have remarried and he is such a good man. We have had a trip from the twilight zone and pray for a much better on back to the Last frontier. Thanks for reading my blog. I have so much to say but couldnt get the time till now.

Love and prayers to you

Hi Sharon, it's Dixie. I hope by the time you read this you are on your way back "home" with the equipment that you need. So sorry to hear about your health, it's a nasty disease. Perhaps getting back to your routine in AK will settle everything down. Let us know when you get back to Tok.
