Statement as of 4:06 AM EST op 06 december 2013
... Rain will transition to snow late this morning...
Rain will move into the Northeast Kingdom early this
morning... with colder air gradually filtering into the area. This
colder air will cause rain to change to snow... with a brief
period of sleet and/or freezing rain possible. The Connecticut
valley will continue to see rain as precipitation begins to taper
off from west to east after 11 am. Snowfall accumulations will
generally be kept to the higher elevation with up to 2 inches
possible. Any ice accretion from freezing rain will be
minor... with generally a trace expected.
Any wintry precipitation may make untreated roads hazardous.
