... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 300 am CDT for
northern real... western Llano... northeastern Edwards... Gillespie and
Kerr counties...

At 1221 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated a complex thunderstorms
producing moderate rain across the Northwest Hill country. Up to two
inches of rain had fallen in around an hours time just before
midnight. Flash flooding is likely occurring over some smaller
streams and normally flood prone areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kerrville... Fredericksburg... Llano... Hunt... Ingram... Stonewall... Kerr
Wildlife Management Area... Valley Spring... Oxford... Mountain home...
Kerrville State Park... Eckert... crabapple... Doss... Harper...
Castell... Cain City... Rocky Hill... Willow City and Waltonia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Do not stay in areas subject to flooding when
water begins rising. Turn around... dont drown when encountering
flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

eastern Llano County in south central Texas...
Comal County in south central Texas...
Hays County in south central Texas...
Burnet County in south central Texas...
northwestern Travis County in south central Texas...
central Kendall County in south central Texas...
Blanco County in south central Texas...
northwestern Williamson County in south central Texas...
eastern Gillespie County in south central Texas...

* until 415 am CDT

* at 1145 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain across the northern and eastern Hill Country. Up to two
inches of rain have already fallen... and saturated soils along
with standing water in normally Dry Creek beds will result in
flash flooding with as little as 1 inch of rain.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Boerne... Kingsland... Marble Falls... Burnet... Wimberley... Dripping
Springs... blanco... Bertram... Round Mountain... Buchanan Dam... Canyon
Lake dam... Leander... Gainesville... Lakeway... Lago Vista... Fair Oaks
Ranch... Canyon Lake... Granite Shoals... Bulverde and Bee Cave.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 7 PM CDT this evening
through Friday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of south central Texas... including the following
areas... Bandera... Edwards... Gillespie... Kerr... Kinney...
Llano... real... Uvalde and Val Verde.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Friday morning

* rainfall is expected to approach the Rio Grande from the west
this evening and progress eastward across The Hill Country and
potentially through the I-35 corridor during the overnight
hours. Between 1-2 inches of rain is forecast with isolated
amounts of 3 inches possible.

* Due to the very moist conditions of the grounds and soils in
the area... rapid flash flooding of low water crossings and
some roadways will be possible where heavy rain develops.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means flash flooding is possible in or near
the watch area. If you are in the watch area... plan now for what
you will do if flash flooding develops. Stay informed and be
ready to act if you see flooding or if a Flash Flood Warning is
issued.
