For the south Chickamauga near south Chickamauga creek at Chickamauga TN, moderate flooding is occurring, with a stage of 22.8 feet measured at 9 am today. The river rose above the flood stage of 18.0 feet at 10 PM Tuesday. The river has crested and is expected to fall below flood stage at about 6 am Friday.
* At 23.0 feet... evacuations begin in some of the low lying areas around Spring Creek in the East Ridge area.
