* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of central Oklahoma...
northern Oklahoma... northwest Oklahoma and western Oklahoma...
including the following areas... in central Oklahoma...
Kingfisher. In northern Oklahoma... Garfield... Grant... Kay and
Noble. In northwest Oklahoma... Alfalfa... Blaine... Dewey...
Ellis... Harper... major... Woods and Woodward. In western
Oklahoma... Custer and Roger Mills.

* Through Monday morning

* up to an inch of rainfall possible through midnight tonight

* Saturday and Sunday 1 to 4 inches of rainfall expected with
locally higher amounts

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Monitor weather forecasts and information. Avoid travel in
flooded areas... and make plans to get to higher ground if
flooding develops or worsens in your area.

... Wettest month on record at Wichita Falls...

Just before 2 PM Friday... 13.77 inches of rain has fallen at
Sheppard Air Force base at Wichita Falls so far in may. This is the
most rainfall that has been officially recorded in Wichita Falls in
any month on record. Rainfall records at Wichita Falls date since
1897.

The previous monthly rainfall record had been 13.22 inches in may
1982.
