The Flood Warning continues for
the South Platte river near Roscoe.
* Until further nortice.
* At 8:30 am on Sunday may 24 the stage was 9.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast is for the river to hold steady today, then begin to rise
and crest near 10.8 feet by the end of the week.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... moderate flood stage. Homes and out
buildings along the river may flood. Flooding occurs along the
river between Roscoe and the Interstate 80 exchange. Water may
approach link 51b which is the Road between Interstate 80 and
Roscoe on the south side of the river.

At 906 PM MDT/1006 PM CDT/... National Weather Service Doppler radar
was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 15
miles northeast of Arthur to 7 miles southwest of Stockville... and
moving northeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 55 mph are expected with these storms... along with
heavy rain. A wind gust to 55 mph was measured near Moorefield and
these strong winds are moving through Lincoln County.
