A freeze warning remains in effect from 1 am to 9 am CDT Wednesday.

* Timing: greatest risk for freezing temperatures between 3 am and 7 am

* impacts: low temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees in combination with clear skies will cause damaging frost formation. Tender and unprotected vegetation could be seriously damaged. Outdoor pets accustomed to warmer Spring conditions could also be adversely affected by this late season cold snap.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
