Freezing Rain Advisory
Statement as of 3:54 AM CST op 26 november 2015

... Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
6 PM CST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Freezing Rain
Advisory... which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 6 PM CST

* Timing... a wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet will spread
eastward this evening... beginning along and east of a line from
Burlington to Topeka... gradually spreading over east central
Kansas through Friday.

* Ice accumulations... ice accumulations less than a quarter of an inch
are possible. No snow accumulations expected.

* Other impacts... accumulation of ice on roadways could make for
slick travel over the Holiday. Remember that bridges and
overpasses often become slick before main roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
