...Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory remains in effect for Knox...Fulton...northern Woodford...Stark...Peoria and Marshall counties until 100 PM CDT...

At 742 am CDT...weather spotters reported thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the advisory area. Spotters reported standing water in Mossville on Route 29 a quarter mile north of Route 6. Additional rural and city roads are likely being affected by the heavy rainfall. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain could fall through 10 am... on top of the 2 to 3 inches estimated by Doppler radar across portions of the advisory area.

Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause minor flooding to occur. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Canton...Galesburg...Lacon...Lewistown...Peoria...Abingdon... Report flooding to the nearest law enforcement agency so that they may take appropriate action to close flooded roadways. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service in Lincoln.
