The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 10 am CST

will arrive across central Illinois during overnight into mid
morning Friday. The coldest wind chills will be around Galesburg
by dawn Friday.

exposed skin. Extended exposure without proper clothing will
increase the risk of hypothermia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves... and minimize as much exposed skin as possible.

Snow will likely spread northeast across central and southeast
Illinois during Saturday evening and continue into Sunday. The

Between 2 and 4 inches of snow is possible from I-70 south with
