The Flood Warning continues for the Altamaha river at Baxley. * Until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8:45 am Sunday the stage was 77.4 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 74.5 feet. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 78.5 feet by Tuesday early afternoon then begin falling. * Impact...at 78.0 feet...water begins to affect homes in the Carter bight and Davis Landing area. * Impact...at 74.5 feet...minor flooding of Timber and agricultural land can be expected.

The Flood Warning continues for the Altamaha river at Everett city. * Until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8:15 am Sunday the stage was 11.9 feet. * Moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 12.0 feet. * Forecast...rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to rise to near 14.2 feet by Friday early afternoon. * Impact...at 13.0 feet...water begins to encroach upon Altamaha Park Road and Pennick Road. Portions of Altamaha Park become inundated. * Impact...at 12.0 feet...agricultural and Timber lands flooded. Water begins to encroach upon Altamaha Park. * Impact...at 10.0 feet...river begins coming out of channel banks inundating low lying bottomlands.
