Strong northerly winds...high seas and a chance for rain will continue through Wednesday as low pressure crosses the northwest Gulf of Mexico. Winds could gust to near gale force over the far coastal waters east of Cameron through tonight. Winds and seas will finally diminish on Wednesday night as high pressure approaches the region. However winds will increase again on Friday as another area of low pressure crosses the central Gulf. High pressure will quickly pass over the weekend.
