Virgin Islands waters... a weak tropical wave across the Caribbean south of the Mona Passage will exit the local area today. High pressure across the east central Atlantic will shift and reorganize across the central Atlantic through the weekend. The next tropical wave along 54 west this morning is forecast to move west northwestward across the local area Friday through Saturday...accompanied by gusty winds...increasing seas...and active weather.
